The family announces that Mary Klassen, aged 97, passed away peacefully at the Donwood Manor Personal Care Home on Sunday May 3, 2026.
Mary was predeceased by her husband John Klassen, her parents Nicholai and Louise Huebert, her sister Louise Rempel, brother Nick Huebert and her son-in-law David Enns.
Mary is survived by her children, Viola (Peter) Labun, Eric (Anne) Klassen, Irene (Silvano) Klassen; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister Agnes Koop, sister-in-law Lydia Klassen and many other extended relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 15, 2026, at McIvor MB Church, 200 McIvor Avenue, Winnipeg. A private family interment is planned.
The family is very thankful to the staff of the Donwood Manor Personal Care Home for their warm and attentive care.
